MAC Viva Glam Rihanna 2

E' possibile passare da "oddio, questo rossetto è orrendo" a "lo amo da morire?". A me è successo con il MAC Viva Glam Rihanna 2 (rossetto + lipglass). Dopo aver visto una makeup artist di MAC portare questa killer-combo con un eyeliner nero ho deciso che i prodotti avrebbero dovuto essere miei.
Il rossetto da solo è veramente particolare, molto "robotico" (personalmente lo adoro) ma credo che con il gloss sia da svenimento, in quanto all'interno del lucidalabbra ci sono delle pagliuzze fuxia che si sposano benissimo con i riflessi/pagliuzze del rossetto.
Ho comprato il mio secondo finish Frost... nevicherà all'inferno prossimamente.

Gli Swarovski che mi hanno applicato da Benefit continuano a durare e io non ho assolutamente intenzione di toglierli! Pare possano resistere fino a 10/15 giorni!

Back to Mac: Relentlessly Red e Flat Out Fabulous

Qualche giorno fa sono passata da MAC a portare ben 12 pezzi tra trucchi finiti/che non usavo più (tra cui anche il blush Personal Style, non ce l'ho fatta a finirlo!), avevo quindi diritto a scegliere due rossetti.

Grazie alla mia amica Serena (di Beautydea) sapevo già di volere Relentlessly Red a tutti i costi, mentre la seconda scelta era completamente "al buio". Nessun colore mi ispirava particolarmente! Cadere sul Ruby Woo, sulla mia lista da tempi immemori, mi sembrava una cosa un po' banalotta e precoce data la mole di rossetti rossi in mio possesso (tra cui qualche pseudo-dupe di Ruby Woo ci sarà sicuramente)... sapevo solo di volere un opaco. Così il mio sguardo è caduto su Flat Out Fabulous ed è così che sono andata felicemente alla cassa!

Sia Relentlessly Red che Flat Out Fabulous sono dei Retro-Matte e fanno parte della linea permanente di MAC.

A few days ago I went to MAC to bring 12 pieces of makeup (both empties and stuff I didn't finish or like anymore), so I had to choose 2 lipsticks.

Thanks to my friend Serena I knew I wanted Relentlessly Red really bad, while my second choice was totally "blind". No color really appealed to me! To buy Ruby Woo, on my list since forever, seemed a bit too banal for me since I own a lot of red lipsticks (and surely also a dupe of Ruby Woo)... I just knew I wanted a matte one. My glance fell on Flat Out Fabulous and that's when I went to the counter, happy with my two choices!

Both Relentlessly Red and Flat Out Fabulous' finishes are Retro-Matte and are in the MAC's permanent collection.  

Relentlessly Red: an amazing fuchsia-red-coral, it's like an highlighter pen!

Flat Out Fabulous: a cold cyclamen purple, I hope it suits me!

MAC Punk Couture collection

Una non può nemmeno andare da MAC a comprare il paintpot Soft Ochre che ne esce con due rossetti.

Avevo visto qualcosina di questa collezione e, ovviamente, mi ero focalizzata sui rossetti. Il fatto è che sono in spending review quindi gli acquisti sono ridotti allo zero. Devo dire che sono abbastanza brava nell'intento (forse per la prima volta nella mia vita) però, quando sono entrata da MAC, la collezione Punk Couture era lì in bella vista. "Ciah, diamo un'occhiata". Ecco, fregata. "Ommioddioh Punk Couture, Instigator, Studded Kiss, cosasonooooooh!!!". Non posso lasciarli qua, nonono.
Un briciolo di senno si è poi impossessato di me e mi ha fatto analizzare bene gli swatches che ho fatto in negozio, mostrandomi che Punk Couture è si un bel rossetto ma non ha una stesura ottima, anzi. E' molto "agglomerata", il colore non è uniforme e sulle labbra sarebbe stato bello chiazzoso, quindi l'ho lasciato lì. Ho cercato poi conferme su Temptalia e si, ci ho visto giusto.
Mi sono portata a casa Instigator e Studded Kiss. Il primo è un bellissimo viola-prugna scuro e intensissimo, mi sono veramente innamorata di questo colore. Il secondo è un rosso. Si si, lo so, avevo detto "basta rossetti rossi" però questo è troooooppo bello, dai, come facevo a lasciarlo lì? Entrambi hanno un finish matte.

I already saw something of this collection online and I focused on the lipsticks, of course.  The fact is, I'm in "spending review" so my purchases are null. I actually have to say I'm pretty good at saving (maybe for the first time of my life) but when I entered the MAC store, the Punk Couture collection was there, looking at me. "Ok, let's have a look". Duh, gypped. "Oooohmygooood Punk Couture, Instigator, Studded Kiss!!". I can't leave them here, no. A hint of reason possessed me for a second and made me analyze the swatches I did, showing me that Punk Couture is a great lipstick in color but it has a pretty bad pigmentation/application. It's really "conglomerated", the color is not uniform and on the lips it shows, so I left it at the counter. I looked for validation on Temptalia and yeas, I was right.I took home Instigator and Studded Kiss. The first is a wonderful deep purple/burgundy and it's really intense, I'm really in love with this color. The second one is a red lipstick. Yes, I know I told "enough with red lipsticks" but this is waaaay too awesome, how could I not buy it?
Both are matte.
