HAUL from Paris!

Buona Befana a tutte!
Non mi sprecherò in battute, non le ho mai trovate divertenti.
Spero che abbiate passato delle buone feste e un Capodanno divertente! Come molte di voi sapranno, ho passato il Natale dai miei in Veneto e poi sono partita con il mio ragazzo alla volta di Parigi: ci siamo rimasti quasi una settimana e abbiamo visto tantissime cose. E' stato stupendo, abbiamo fatto più di 1000 foto e mi piacerebbe dedicare un post sul mio viaggio, inserendo alcune delle foto più belle.

Sono stata alla mega Sephora degli Champs-Élysées (e non solo in quella!) ed ecco il video-resoconto della mia avventura e dei miei acquisti.

I hope you had a good Christmas and a funny New Year's Eve! As many of you know, I spent Christmas with my parents in Veneto and then I went to Paris with my boyfriend: we stayed almost a week there and we saw so many things. It was amazing, we took over 1000 photos and I'd like to dedicate a post on my trip, incorporating some of the best pictures.

Of course I've been to the mega Sephora of the Champs-Élysées (and not only in that one actually!) and here is the video-report of my adventures and my purchases.

Haul Illamasqua

Con un discreto ritardo riesco a farvi vedere i miei ultimi acquisti Illamasqua. Nonostante io continui ad acquistare cosine di questo marchio, la mia wishlist continua ad allungarsi...

With a discreet delay I finally can show you the last Illamasqua goodies I bought. Despite my shopping, my Illamasqua wishlist grows longer and longer...

Ho acquistato il mio primo smalto Illamasqua: dopo averlo corteggiato un po', ho ceduto al fascino di Creator. Dite la verità, lo sapete anche voi che questo è il MIO smalto.
Il pennellino è piccolo e un po' "informe", non è di quelli che mi piacciono tanto (io faccio parte del club "pennellino piatto e largo"), la stesura è comunque facile e i tempi di asciugatura sono veramente iper minimi.

Per rimuoverlo, dopo un po' di panico iniziale dato che è il mio primo smalto con glitter, sono ricorsa all'efficientissimo metodo cotone + carta stagnola (trovate moltissimi tutorial su youtube).

I bought my first Illamasqua nail polish: after I courted "Creator" a bit, I definitely surrendered to its charm. You gotta know, it's too much my style.

The brush is small and pretty without a proper form, which I don't love so much (I'm fan of the flat and wide brush), the application is easy though and it dries super quickly.

To remove it, after a little panic (it's my first glitter nail polish), I used the cotton & foil method (you can find tons of tutorials on Youtube).

Il mio amore per i blush Illamasqua continua felicemente. Ho preso due cream blusher e un powder blusher, nell'ordine: Rude, Seduce e Katie.

My love for their blushes goes happily on. I bought two cream blushers and one powder blusher, in the order: Rude, Seduce and Katie.

Micro haul Essence!

Ho fatto qualche acquisto alla Essence, cercavo cosine per le unghie e quindi lo shopping è incentrato sulla manicure... però! C'è un però!

Avendo speso più di 10€, avevo diritto o ad un gloss o ad un duo di ombretti gratis fra quelli a loro disposizione (quindi non è che ti fiondi sull'espositore a scegliere quello che vuoi, loro ti dicono "o questo gloss o l'ombretto"!)

Così ho scelto il duo di ombretti che vedete in foto! Anche perchè il gloss era trasparente con pagliuzze/glitter argentati... molto anni 90!! (Ne avevo uno quasi identico, trovato sul Cioè)

Ecco cos'ho preso!

HAUL: Real Techniques!

Come vi avevo anticipato qui, ho svaligiato il sito inglese BeautyChamber, dove ho acquistato quasi tutti i pennelli Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman.

Il mio stippling brush e il mio blush brush cominciavano a sentirsi soli...

Il mio parere all'inizio non era positivissimo: mi ero innamorata follemente delle setole (teklon), ma il pennello da blush mi sembrava troppo grande e lo stippling, con fondo liquido, lasciava le odiose strisce.
MA: lo stippling è allucinante per i blush in crema e il pennello da blush è perfetto per la cipria, per sfumare blush/contouring/highlighting e rendere tutto omogeneo... ed è buono anche da blush! Basta poggiare leggermente il pennello per stendere e sfumare allo stesso tempo i blush in polvere.... un sogno!

Perciò ho deciso di acquistare (quasi) tutti gli altri:

• Expert Face brush
• Setting brush
